The artist Marcela Moraga came to Renaico in 2016 thanks to a grant from the Red Cultura program to stimulate collaborative art. During her residency there, Marcela spent time with members of the Save the Renaico River Collective, with young people doing public service (1. Servicio Pa\u00eds), with other local neighborhood organizations, and with the Renaico River itself. The meetings and conversations that ensued led to new artistic initiatives, as well as the documentary Save the Renaico River<\/em>, which are all part of the collections of the Community Water Museum. Moraga remains committed to the young people of the collective, and to the defense of the river. She has presented work on the Renaico River and the museum collection at multiple art and ecology-related events. <\/p>\r\n
